MEMBERSHIP CAMPAIGN

As a non-profit charitable organization, the Society depends on public and private funds to support its services.

Since it's founding in 1949, private donations have helped sustain the Legal Aid Society in its mission to ensure that "no one in Onondaga County shall be denied justice because of a lack of means."

Hiscock Legal Aid Society has an annual Membership Campaign to raise funds to support the work of our Civil Program.

Members names are published in an annual Membership Directory.

Individual Membership Giving Levels:

$1000 And Above - Champion of Justice
$500 to $999 - Defender of Justice
$250 to $499 - Guardian of Justice
$100 to $249 - Advocate of Justice

Law Firm/Corporate Giving Levels:

$5000 And Above - Platinum Supporter
$2500 to $4,999 - Gold Supporter
$1000 to $2,499 - Silver Supporter
$500 to $999 - Bronze Supporter

Membership is not the only way to contribute, however. Any donation is welcomed and appreciated.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to help the Society. Volunteer opportunities are available for law students, undergraduate students, graduate students, high school students, clerical workers and others. If you wish to volunteer, click here to fill out an inquiry so that we may contact you.
